These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trontiq Chrome extension and website (collectively, the "Service") provided by Spintiq ("we", "us", "our"). By installing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
Trontiq is offered solely for personal, non‑commercial use. You may not reverse engineer, modify, or redistribute the Service without our permission. We reserve the right to change or discontinue the Service at any time.
You agree not to use the Service for any illegal purpose, to violate any applicable laws, or to abuse or overload our systems (e.g., circumventing usage limits, scraping, or reselling access). We may suspend or terminate your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms or acceptable use.
When you highlight job descriptions or generate resumes and cover letters, you provide content to the Service. You retain ownership of your content but grant us a license to process and display it solely for the purpose of providing the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the outcome of your job applications and do not guarantee employment. You use the Service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spintiq will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims related to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spintiq and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
Trontiq offers free and paid plans (Pro, Mini, Boost). Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by Stripe. You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy and applicable law. We do not store your full payment card details.
When you send a message to Trontiq and then click Stop to cancel the response mid-generation, the request still counts as one request and is deducted from your account (or from your plan’s usage limit). The message you sent is returned to your input box so you can re-edit or delete it.
You are billed (or usage is counted) for the request because you initiated it, regardless of whether you stop it before completion. Partial or incomplete responses are not refunded. We charge per request initiated, not per response completed. This policy helps prevent abuse and ensures fair billing for all users.
Usage limits apply to keep the Service available for all users. The free plan includes a 7-day trial (15 requests) and then 10 requests per calendar month. Mini and Boost are one-time purchases with a fixed number of requests. The Pro plan is subject to fair-use limits (e.g., up to 500 requests per calendar month) for abuse prevention. We may warn or temporarily throttle usage that exceeds fair-use levels. These limits may be updated with notice where appropriate.
We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Your resume and profile data are encrypted in transit and stored securely on our servers (Supabase) using industry‑standard security practices. We track free‑tier usage limits (7-day trial with 15 requests; then 10 requests per month on the free plan) to provide the Service. We do not sell your personal information. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for breach of these Terms, abuse, or for any other reason. You may stop using the Service at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g., Limitation of Liability, Indemnification) will remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If any part of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts will remain in effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other policies we reference, constitute the entire agreement between you and Spintiq regarding the Service.
